SOMA’s Pelvicology program uses Myofascial Release technique to unlock the internal fascia of the pelvic floor. Patients experience lasting changes including functional improvement of the pelvic floor muscles, improved core stabilization and pelvic organ support, and relief of bowel, bladder and sexual dysfunction.
Patients start with a musculoskeletal evaluation by a physical therapist and then meet with our program lead Lesley Arbour, MS, RN, and MFR therapist. Depending on the severity of symptoms, the average length of treatment is 3 to 6 visits and these treatments are typically covered by insurance.
